I just wanted to let you know how much I am enjoying the Saddle Skirts. I bought it last winter, hoping to do some warm and cozy riding.  Unfortunately, my horse came up lame, so there would be no riding him for about a year. However, the saddle skirt did not get dusty sitting on a hook in my tack room. I had no idea it would turn into such a multi-purpose piece of clothing. It is great to use on cold mornings on my way to the barn. I know I am going to get warm doing barn chores and I love how quickly it goes on and whips off.

Being of a certain age, being able to whip it off quickly is imperative during a hot flash and just as important to be able to wrap it back on once the flash is over. I've used it as a poncho to keep dry during a spring rainstorm while cleaning paddocks and to keep warm on a cold evening while camping. I've used it to keep my good, non-barn clothes clean when I've had to rush to the barn for some reason before going to town.

Just a few days ago, I finally got to use it for the purpose that I originally bought it for. I rode my now sound gelding around my snowy treed property, staying ever so warm and dry, watching snow fall off it like water off a duck's back.

After all the uses I've had for it in the past year, I would have thought it would look dirty, but the outer shell looks like new and the soft underside is just as luscious as the day I got it.

Thank you for offering such a high quality and useful piece of clothing.

Sincerely,

Anna-Maria R.
